Craiova

Lunch today was at an Italian restaurant in Craiova. The Romania waiter had worked in Italy. He spoke Italian, Romanian and a smattering of English. We really like pictures or an English translation on the menu, but there were none. We tried to extract enough information from our waiter to know what we were ordering. Debra got what we thought was some kind of shrimp with the little beady eyes looking up at her from her plate. Ace's dish was okay, but he ended up eating all of Debra's creatures. After dinner our waiter brought me a glass of something "on the house." It was strong coffee and ice cream I think. I didn't want to hurt his feelings, so we poured it onto Debra's plate with the remaining creatures so it would appear that I'd drank the coffee dessert.
